    • Your Idaho order will be mailed the following business day after you complete your transaction. (i.e. If you complete your transaction on Monday, your order will be mailed on Tuesday. If you complete your order on Friday, your order will be mailed on Monday.)

  10. What happens if I never receive my license order (i.e. perhaps it gets lost in the mail)?
    • If you do not receive the original documents in the mail, please contact IDFG at 208-334-3717. They will have you sign a legal document stating that you did not receive the documents. If you are in the field with two tags and have signed the legal document saying you never received the original order, this is a felony and IDFG Law Enforcement will be forced to take action.

  11. Am I able to exchange my elk tag for a tag in another zone after the transaction is complete? ?
    • Yes. You can exchange your elk tag to another zone as long as there are tags available in that zone. The exchange costs $3.50 per tag exchanged. You will need to return your tag with a check for the exchange fees and a note to let IDFG know which zone you would like to exchange your tag for.

      Please send the request to:
